The bulk of the program features Elena Kats-Chernin's music, and takes us on a captivating journey inspired by the 1922 children's book by Annie R. Rentoul and Ida Rentoul Outhwaite. This program blends pure operatic tones and a story teeming with life, creating a vivid musical narrative that invites listeners to visualise forests, friendship, and magical wishes.

Sanatorium Express
Arriving at a peculiar resort-sanatorium, a woman's plans for weight loss in a weekend to save her marriage are hilariously derailed, when her husband unexpectedly checks in. Lured by a Healer with a reputation for a quick fix, an array of unique and entertaining characters struggling with the complexities of modern life soon realise their healing is not as straightforward as they thought.
