Mietta Foundation Song Series
The Mietta Foundation Song Series recalls the seminal legacy of Mietta O’Donnell and the Mietta Song Competition (1995–2016), which helped shape Australia’s culture of art song performance and appreciation. By bringing the Foundation’s distinguished support for singers together with ACOCO’s focus on contemporary opera and song, the series positions art song alongside opera as a vital, living part of who we are.
Each program embodies the artistic breadth, intimacy and contemporary spirit that will define this new flagship platform for art song.
